What if I don't have much laboratory experience?

Then this opportunity is particularly designed for you. The program will include workshops to help you develop the skills you need to be successful. You will work closely with a faculty mentor, receiving a lot of individual attention. If you are a member of a group which is under-represented in physics (women, ethnic minorities, ...) we would especially encourage you to apply. We are also particularly interested in students at all levels in their education from two year colleges or schools that do not offer a graduate program in physics.
